We provide meditation retreats in the healing presence of silence. We are nurturing the quiet heart, inner peace and self-healing.  Time in silence, resting our awareness in the quiet heart, opens the present moment to infinite peace and our inner wisdom. One-on-one meditation instruction is included in each retreat.  Spiritually nourishing, peace & quiet, allows time for reflection and relaxation.  We are located on 25 acres of open land and surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland.

Rooms

Each person can have a private room.  All rooms have vaulted ceilings, complete with all cotton linens, towels and pillow top mattresses.  Hardwood or marble flooring throughout. Heating and air conditioning (guest controlled). Modern comfort and impeccable.  We use all biodegradable cleaning products.

Daily Rhythm  2 Sitting meditations, one moving meditation, personal meditation session is included.  Each meditation is led  by experienced teachers and is a healing environment.  You are invited to ask questions to get spiritual direction after meditation periods.

In the afternoons there is time to practice living with a quiet heart, walking meditation in nature, reading, journaling, resting, swimming, personal free time to nurture yourself.

Amenities: Large Salt Water Pool and hot tub, library, gourmet open-flow kitchen available all day, outdoor patios, nature walks

Extra Services: Energy Healing, Consultation, Massage

2 pm  Meditative Movement

5 pm  Personal practice time or consultation with teachers.

Meals & Kitchen

You have access all day to a large, beautiful & open easy-flow kitchen to prepare your meals. No diet restrictions. There are many organic basics on hand including bottled water. All you need are your fresh veggies, meats, fruits, dairy or grain products. We provide biodegradable cleaning products, garbage bags, take home cartons.

Arrival & Departure Notes: 

New Guests: Generally guests start on Friday or Monday.  We can accommodate a different start day if you contact ruth@silentstay.com before registering. Arrival is 3-4 pm with orientation at 4:30 pm.  Holiday, 3 day Weekends, can be an exception for arrival Saturday.

Returning Guests: Arrival any day 10-5.

Departure: 12 noon
